Lightstorm partnered with Nokia to integrate the Network Services Platform (NSP) and Nokia Digital Operations software, including Network Assurance Center, Unified Inventory, and provisioning capabilities. Meta's Llama 3.X enables the Digital Twin's AI-powered fault detection, analysis, resolution, and intelligent troubleshooting.
The Nokia Network Services Platform (NSP) aims to accelerate service fulfilment and simplify network management, assurance and optimisation. It maximises IP and optical networks' agility, efficiency and reliability for a synchronised and holistic view of Lightstorm's network operations. The Nokia Network Assurance Center provides real-time service assurance with proactive alerts for rapid issue resolution. The Unified Inventory consolidates critical network data to enhance decision-making and resource optimisation.

"By collaborating with Nokia and its data source from diverse deployed Nokia systems, we have developed a next-generation AI-powered platform that redefines network operations," said Lalit Chowdhary, chief technology and information officer at Lightstorm. "This Digital Twin will significantly enhance the customer experience by enabling proactive service assurance, reducing downtime, improving operational agility and reducing dependency on human knowledge."
