Logitech has launched the "Logitech Green Alliance" to collaborate with Hong Kong-based independent software vendors (ISVs) to help enterprises transform "invisible" office data into quantifiable ESG results and expand the green tech ecosystem.
Logitech Green Alliance
Supported by Invest Hong Kong (InvestHK), the "Logitech Green Alliance" is centred on the Spot environmental sensor. It aims to empower ISVs through the open Logitech Sync API to deliver a diverse range of smart-office solutions.
By leveraging ISV applications, Spot drives on-demand automation with a system that automatically adjusts HVAC settings and powers down non-essential devices when a space is detected as vacant.
Using mmWave technology and integrated TVOC and particulate sensors, Spot enables automated release of vacant rooms, thereby enhancing space efficiency.
This technology aims to optimise energy use, reduce operational costs, enhance employee performance, and enable flexible deployment and compliance.
Modern hub

Logitech has announced the grand reopening of its newly renovated Hong Kong office in Lai Chi Kok, showcasing the company's commitment to 'Simple, Smart, Sustainable' workspaces that integrate eco-friendly design with intelligent technology.
Aries Sze, head of HKTW of Logitech, stated: "This is more than just an office renovation; it is a living blueprint for Logitech's vision of hybrid work. The goal of AI is to augment human productivity, not replace it. By embedding AI into our hardware, software, and cloud management platforms, Logitech solutions empower organisations to maximise operational efficiency and unlock their full potential."
