Neat, the video technology company, has made it easier than ever to support large meeting spaces with the introduction of new offerings and expansions. These include BYOD capabilities on Neat Bar Generation 2 and new applications available in Neat App Hub, all designed to simplify the collaboration experience.

"Neat is dedicated to delivering simple yet powerful solutions to our customers' meeting room challenges, and this marks another step towards providing customers with the flexibility to get the maximum value from their Neat devices," said Tormod Ree, chief product and engineering officer for Neat. "By expanding the capabilities of our hardware devices and intelligent software, we can provide more equitable, high-quality experiences across a range of collaboration spaces."
New offerings
Neat introduces dual Neat Centres, allowing paired devices to intelligently track and frame each person in large meeting rooms for consistent visibility and audio. With Neat Focus, users can define camera zones to spotlight speakers, while Speaker Framing highlights active speakers for remote participants through an AI-powered camera.
Additionally, Neat Bar Generation 2 is now available in BYOD mode without Neat Pad, offering a simple plug-and-play experience for greater flexibility.
The Neat App Hub is expanding with the addition of new video calling apps, further enhancing its versatility. Users now have the flexibility to switch between collaboration tools or deploy Neat devices, with the first wave of Neat App Hub video calling apps including Airtame, Dialpad, Mago, Private Discuss, Vconsol, Video Window, and Zoho. Beta access to these apps begins this summer on select Gen 2 devices.
