SAP SE has introduced breakthroughs that provide business value by integrating AI, data, and applications. This includes a new network of role-based assistants in Joule that collaborate with humans to enhance performance, an expanding data ecosystem that drives deeper insights, and supply chain software that anticipates disruptions.

“To thrive when volatility is the new normal, businesses need more than a patchwork of disparate best-of-breed applications,” said Muhammad Alam, member of the Executive Board of SAP SE, SAP Product & Engineering. “Our announcements today demonstrate the power of SAP Business Suite, where AI, data, and applications come together in an experience to propel smarter decisions, faster execution, and scalable transformation.”
AI, data, and applications integration
SAP introduces role-aware assistants in Joule, designed to partner with individuals in their specific business roles. These assistants identify the right agents for the job, configure and orchestrate them, and manage them, fostering a collaborative environment.
A growing library of specialised Joule Agents supports assistants in executing complex workflows within a specific function.
Additionally, SAP Business Data Cloud Connect aims to remove the barriers of data often siloed in different systems by linking with partner platforms to enable a bidirectional flow of business-ready data products.
It claims to offer zero-copy sharing to preserve business context without costly copies. It aims to keep data securely within SAP systems while maintaining instant access to customers’ existing data platforms.
SAP unveils Supply Chain Orchestration, a new AI-native solution designed to help customers reduce costs while maintaining smooth supply chain operations. It combines the capabilities of Joule with a live knowledge graph to detect real-time risks several suppliers deep and orchestrate a coordinated response.
SAP Engagement Cloud, its latest customer experience solution, leverages business-critical context to personalise interactions across customers, suppliers, and other stakeholders.
Lastly, SAP Ariba procurement suite, an AI-native solution, aims to bring intelligence to every stage of spend management, from sourcing through supplier engagement.
