Over 100 students, customers, partners, prospects, and citizen developers from all industries have created practical automation, integration, and artificial intelligence (AI) solutions that address current business challenges during a developer challenge organised by Workato.
The Work Revolution National Developer Challenge, a nationwide initiative designed to foster innovation for the future of work, has enabled Singapore's tech talent to innovate in the areas of enterprise automation and AI with the support of Singapore's Infocomm Media Development Authority (IMDA).

Carter Busse, chief information officer at Workato, said. "The innovative approaches that we have seen during this challenge will directly influence how enterprises can accelerate their digital transformation journeys using our platform."

The winning entry has introduced an AI-assisted volunteer onboarding system for AWARE (Association of Women for Action and Research) Singapore, which enhances role matching, retention, and frontline capacity, effectively reducing the time social sector organisations spend vetting volunteers from months to days. The winning team, Team (我)rk 爱 AI, took home the grand prize of S$10,000 and the opportunity to share their idea at Workato's annual flagship conference later this year.

Isaac Lee from Team (我)rk 爱 AI said: "I'm surprised we won, given that there were a lot of interesting approaches from other participants, which were intriguing and fresh to the scene."
Launched in March, The Work Revolution National Developer Challenge 2025 aimed to gather fresh and innovative ideas across security, employee experience, customer experience, operational excellence, and social sector themes in nine weeks. Participants underwent mentorships and training sessions by Workato experts to tackle real-world challenges.
