Higher diploma fresh graduates and university degree fresh graduates receive the same starting salary range from the creative media industry employers.
Employers agree that higher diploma and university degree graduates have comparable work attitudes, technical knowledge, and soft skills. Around 80% of employers still consider university qualifications as a key factor in hiring talents.
What is lacking among applicants
Employers see the importance of technical expertise and relevant internship or practical experience when hiring fresh graduates, but find most applicants are lacking in both areas.
In the creative media industry, internship or practical experience and technical expertise for entry-level applicants are considerations that job seekers also fail to possess.
