Tata Communications and Amazon Web Services (AWS)partner to enable anadvanced, AI-ready network and establish a high-capacity, resilient long-distance network connecting three major AWS infrastructure locations, advancing the adoption of generative AI and cloud innovation in India.

Key partnership highlights
The partnership entails leveraging Tata Communications’ network to provide high-bandwidth, low-latency connections essential for AI workloads.​ AWS will continue to deploy its custom network technologies on this network for enhanced security, availability, and performance between AWS locations.
It also aims to empower businesses across India, providing them with the tools to build, train, and deploy scalable AI applications. This includes implementing security measures and aligning with regulatory standards for data integrity and privacy.
The network aims to incorporate express routes with ultra-low latency, providing seamless data transfer and processing capabilities essential for compute-intensive AI and ML workloads.
