PLDT Group, the Philippines’ largest fully integrated telco company, has deployed ERICA (Enterprise Risk Intelligence Companion Agent), an agentic AI capability built on the UiPath Platform.
The agentic AI-powered solution claims to strengthen enterprise risk management across the organisation by enhancing risk identification, assessment and management with greater speed and consistency.
“Our collaboration with the PLDT Group represents UiPath’s first telco application of agentic AI in Southeast Asia,” said Amit Khandelwal, regional vice president and managing director, Southeast Asia at UiPath. “It demonstrates how AI agents orchestrated within critical business processes can enhance operational excellence and resilience. ERICA
Developed through close collaboration among the PLDT Group’s enterprise risk management (ERM) and IT teams and UiPath, ERICA automates risk identification and assessment, translating complex operational information into clear, actionable insights without eliminating human oversight.

This deployment signifies UiPath's first application of agentic AI in Southeast Asia's telecommunications sector. The PLDT Group plans to expand ERICA across more units.
