Vimeo launched Vimeo Central, a secure, AI-powered video hub that can enhance team connectedness, improve company-wide video communication, and extract actionable insights from videos.

Key features
Vimeo Central has an enhanced Video Library with Zoom, Webex, Google Drive, Dropbox, and Box integrations. It also includes AI-powered tools that can automatically condense hour-long videos into short reel and generate text-based summaries.
The video hub has a built-in teleprompter, an editor, event tool, analytics to understand audience behaviors, and an API to analyse employee engagement.

IDC analyst Marci Maddox underscores the tremendous value of videos as a communication medium and a continuous knowledge source.
“IDC research shows that organisations today are targeting video for team collaboration and employee engagement with the goal to improve productivity. These companies need a secure, centralized video hub to assist employees in their daily tasks and tap into the collective knowledge only possible at scale with AI-powered video tools," Maddox said.
