Visa is expanding access to secure, reliable payment experiences by making its agentic commerce solutions available through Amazon Web Services (AWS), including AWS Marketplace and Amazon Bedrock AgentCore.
By listing the Visa Intelligent Commerce platform in AWS Marketplace, the collaboration aims to help developers and enterprises accelerate their move toward agentic commerce. The platform gives businesses access to essential agentic payment tools, including authentication, agentic tokenisation, data personalisation, and user-intent capture.

Rubail Birwadker, SVP, global head of Growth at Visa, said: “With AWS’s scalable cloud capabilities and Visa’s global payment network, Visa Intelligent Commerce enables AI agents to transact securely and contextually at scale—helping to unlock faster innovation for developers and better experiences for consumers and businesses worldwide.”
Visa Intelligent Commerce is designed to allow AI agents to transact securely and autonomously on behalf of users.
Towards agentic commerce
To support developers building complex agentic workflows, AWS and Visa will release blueprints in the Amazon Bedrock AgentCore repository, covering multi-network retail shopping, travel booking, and payment reconciliation, providing ready-to-use patterns for connected commerce journeys.
The collaboration underscores both companies’ commitment to advancing agentic workloads on AWS. As part of this, Visa will deploy MCP tools to help enable fully integrated, end-to-end agentic commerce solutions on the platform.

“Through Amazon Bedrock AgentCore and Visa’s secure agentic commerce APIs and MCP server in the AWS Marketplace, we are going to make it super simple for AWS customers to build and deploy agents and agent tools,” said David Richardson, VP of AgentCore at AWS.
