Ant Group has unveiled major upgrades to its comprehensive suite of AI solutions in healthcare to benefit hospitals, doctors and users through advanced AI innovations.
AI integration
Ant Group partnered with IT industry leaders to integrate its advanced healthcare large model into various types of All-in-One Large Model Machine for Healthcare, allowing hospitals to deploy AI models on-premises to enhance daily operations and patient services.
Ant Group’s model is equipped with medical reasoning and multimodal interaction capabilities and is built on advanced foundation models, including DeepSeek R1/V3, Alibaba’s Qwen, and Ant Group’s self-developed BaiLing. With Ant Group’s privacy-preserving computation solution, the all-in-one machines claim to safeguard data privacy and ensure traceability.
Healthcare innovations
Ant Group has developed an AI agent, Angel, in close collaboration with public medical institutions in China’s Zhejiang Province. This user-centric AI agent has been instrumental in helping hospitals develop user-facing applications, serving over 1,000 medical facilities and handling over 30 million user interactions.
It has also supported local basic medical insurance services across China by developing another AI agent, Yibaoer, to assist users with medical insurance-related inquiries.
Ant Group launched an AI Doctor Assistant in collaboration with Haodf, a leading healthcare platform specialising in online doctor consultations. It aims to support doctors with patient education and medical record management tasks, as well as AI-assisted diagnoses based on patient records and medical reports, and facilitate scientific research.
Ant Group has launched the AI Healthcare Manager within the Alipay app, a comprehensive solution that connects users to over 30 services. These services include doctor mapping, medical report interpretation, in-hospital navigation, and personalised medical advice. With new features like health status self-detection and medical report analysis, users can manage their well-being with a sense of security and confidence.
