iQIYI Inc., a China-based online entertainment platform, highlights its strategies to utilise AI technologies to redefine entertainment in the country.
One of which is its groundbreaking AI-powered feature, iJump, that empowers users to jump between key scenes and story highlights. It gives audiences control over their viewing experience by identifying the most compelling moments that drive the story forward. Since launching on April 21, 2024, iJump has recorded over 150 million user interactions within just 120 days and is available on more than 2,300 dramas and variety shows on the main iQIYI mobile app.

The company has also unveiled Taodou World, the first AI agent-based NPC dialogue platform in the industry, featuring over 1,200 NPCs inspired by iQIYI's characters, creating immersive interactions. The AI assistant helps with video searches, personalised recommendations, and plot insights, deepening viewers' connection to content, thereby enhancing user engagement.
iQIYI also integrates AI across the entire content lifecycle, utilising tools like Screenplay Studio, which can review complete scripts in just 30 minutes and offer targeted creative suggestions, significantly speeding up the content creation process.
Moreover, Imaging Studio supports visual design, and the Film & TV Knowledge Base streamlines research to help creators speed up workflows and focus on storytelling.
