Gartner VP Analyst Gareth Herschel will share the top ways that data and analytics leaders can scale AI to support their D&A initiatives.
“We know that AI and genAI have taken the world of data and analytics and the world of business in general by storm, so it has been transformational across almost every organisation and certainly across every industry and every geography,” Herschel said.
He hopes that these five suggestions will help organisations accelerate the digital transformation process:
- Consider AI: “Always consider AI as an option. Whenever you're thinking about a data and analytics initiative or any other kind of business initiative that may benefit, which is all of them from data and analytics, then you want to think about how we would do this using AI right or gen AI right,” he explained.
- Always be measuring: “Always be measuring the impact of what you've done with your AI initiative.”
- Good governance: “Good governance is about helping your organisation make decisions in the fastest, most appropriate, most effective way possible.”
- Having AI-ready data: “There is no such thing as AI-ready data across your organisation because there is no such thing as AI across your organisation. There are multiple use cases for AI, and there are multiple definitions therefore, there are multiple definitions of AI-ready data in your organisation.”
- Segmenting the audience by attitude: “You need to think about and recognise and understand what their attitude is so that you are able to communicate effectively to them about this potential.”
